Be Proud of Your Humanity, but be Humbled by it

I created this image in the interest of anti-racism. I am publishing it here to put it in the public domain.

I have created lapel pins with this image that I am distributing to friends. I tell them that it represents a club that I belong to — the Human Club. “It’s a very exclusive club; no other animals are allowed to join.” But that should humble us, too. We are a dominant species on earth, but other forms of life outnumber us, share our ecosystem, and are necessary for our mutual survival.

Please feel free to use this image for anti-racism purposes of your own. T-shirts are an obvious example. I request and hope that you will donate any money you make from them to an appropriate anti-racist charity.
