I know two identical twins personally, and very well. As their mother attests, their faces were not quite identical even from birth, and there are surprising differences in their personalities and their tastes for certain foods. I think the differences can be explained by a combination of epigenetic effects on their development and their different experiences in the uterus, where they were in competition for living and growing space.
