I watched the YouTube video that you suggested. Everything Rupert said there would seem to apply to the tree outside my front window and, therefore vacuously, to everything that exists.

Your dismissal of your brain as “a lump of meat and jelly” that is “absolutely necessary to function as a human being” makes me wonder what you think our brains actually do.

Sigh…: Ir seems we are unable to communicate our very different ideas about what we call “consciousness” effectively to each other.

I am content to live my life as the finite living organism that I believe I am, and you will presumably go on to live your life as the infinite, immortal consciousness that you believe you are.
