Look. We are animals. We grow from eggs fertilized by sperm, like other animals. Our brains grow, too, as parts of our bodies.
What makes us so different is our language ability. Parts of our brains have evolved to enable us to communicate like no other animals, particularly with written language.
That enables us to behave in groups separated in space and time, to have effects that no other animals we know of can.
This Medium is just one of myriad examples. There's nothing supernatural about it.
