Putin and Trump Redefine Their Spheres of Influence

It should be clear by now that, ever since Putin and Trump had their private conversation in Trump’s first term, they have agreed to rearrange what they see as each other’s spheres of influence. Trump has agreed to concede Europe to Putin, and Putin has agreed to concede the Americas to Trump. Trump dreams of acquiring Canada and Greenland into a greater United States, and ruling that expanded territory as an autocrat, and many Americans apparently share those dreams.

Both Putin and Trump will probably concede Asia, including Taiwan, to China, along with China’s trade colonization of Africa.

It’s amazing that Republicans in Congress, representing almost half of United States voters, are going along with this, while most voters are not paying much attention, distracted as they are by more personal and local concerns.
