Sad but often true. I have felt like that when I was younger, but later in life I discovered the joys of group dancing -- square dancing, contra dancing, and English country dancing. It’s totally voluntary activity where the only purpose is to be successful and happy as a group. Everyone “gives a shit"! The same effect occurs with group music making.

Unfortunately the pandemic has interrupted such group activities, only temporarily, I hope.
