This article just shows how easily our imaginations can exceed our abilities. We are amazing but finite animals with brains that can grow and communicate fantastic ideas, both real and fictional.

It's hard to prove that anything is truly impossible, but that's due to our finiteness as well. It may be entertaining and diverting to dream of faster-than-light travel by our distant descendants, but we have real, serious problems to get through here on earth in the next three generations.
