The problem with your argument is the phrase “until they are measured”. By whom and by what means? The means must be by physical interaction, and it can’t depend on a human observer, since the universe operated the way it does long before we arrived. So why is a physical theory dependent on quantum uncertainty more satisfying than one dependent on an extra dimension?
