The questions is: What kinds of "coherent action" will Nicolya Christi's writings motivate? If it's concrete actions toward solving problems of climate change and wealth inequality, that would be good. But if it's just raising hands in world-wide synchronized prayer and expressions of love, that may make people feel better but may be counterproductive in dealing with real problems. This article lacks any details that are helpful in answering my question. So it certainly doesn't motivate me to buy her book.
