Well, I would like to know your basis for the statement that “Doctors have known for a long time now that near death experiences are real, that patients have recalled seeing and hearing things while seemingly “unconscious”, and that they happen in people whose brains are in a dying or “dead” phase, as in, no measurable electrical activity.

Also, I think sleep scientists and anesthesiologists know that there are differences in states of unconsciousness at different times while we sleep and under different kinds of anesthesia. So some people may hear things while they are seemingly unconscious.
