Yes, it's an issue of our use of language, involving our understandings of words like "time", "illusion", "observation" and "experience". For us humans the concept of "time" as directional sequence of events, some of which are irreversible, has proven to be very useful for many purposes. And unlike most living things that we know of, we humans enjoy puzzling over apparent paradoxes or contradictions in our concepts.
